Garmin Forerunner 255 Price and Availability
With these watches, you have two sizes, followed by a music or standard option. Each model comes in two colorways with slightly different colors (instead of white/black on the FR955).

Most options are available within 1-2 weeks, but 5-8 weeks for the Blue model and 2-3 weeks for the Black 255S with music.
By comparison, the old Forerunner 245 was £210/£300. You can also get the Forerunner 245 Music on Amazon for £232 or the standard model for £180.

I hate charging, so battery improvements are always a big selling point, and that’s a big deal with this watch.
The standard smartwatch has a lifespan of 14 days, double that of the Forerunner 245.
GPS-Only GNSS mode is 30 hours, 25% higher than the Forerunner 245’s 24 hours.
Multi-band GNSS
This is the newer and more accurate GPS/GNSS that has been introduced on other watches.

comprehensive
The Garmin Forerunner 255 is not as impressive as the Forerunner 955 in my opinion. Mainly because the Forerunner 255 has seen a significant price increase compared to the previous generation.
It’s a full-featured watch, and if running is your main activity, it’s probably the best option you can buy.
For the more serious athlete, it’s hard to ignore the Garmin Forerunner 955, which costs just 37 percent more but is a much better watch.
