The world of Frozen takes unprecedented immersive storytelling to the next level. Walt Disney Imagineering’s world-class expertise pushes the boundaries of creativity to bring Arendelle to life, Anna and Elsa’s home, Inspired by Norway and brought to life through extensive research.

- Perfectly integrated with Hong Kong’s unique natural landscape—— Frozen is perfectly integrated with the natural landscape of Lantau Island and the design of Beishan, providing guests with a broad view. Seamless transitions between man-made landscapes and natural environments fully immerse visitors into the world of Frozen.
- Incorporate Norwegian inspiration to create a must-visit travel destination—— Inspired by Norway, the theme park features a town where guests can explore Arendelle. The scenery, architectural design, costumes and cuisine all incorporate rich Norwegian elements, including the “dragestil” (dragon style) architectural style, Balestrand’s asymmetrical architecture, and rosemary floral paintings.
- Dance between reality and magic through enchanting music – The team collaborated with award-winning composer Andrew Cottee to rearrange the film’s iconic music for “Ice,” performing a variety of tunes in various locations to tell a story with strong emotional connections. Cinematic music creates the perfect atmosphere, allowing guests to experience the “Frozen” story with different senses.
- Recreating film features with meticulous craftsmanship and extensive research – Disney Imagineers spent more than three years on concept and design, working with artists and storytellers at Walt Disney Animation Studios to accurately depict the film’s features in Frozen. The team analyzed ice textures, colors and their relationship to Elsa’s emotions to recreate her ice magic. Attention was paid to every detail, including all forms of ice and snow, and different materials were researched and experimented to authentically recreate the ice palace and ice decorations.
