I think i will touch my nerves My latest work About the Rittenhouse verdict? certainly.
To say I was surprised is an understatement. Except for a handful of outright racist comments, I was shocked to see so many misinformation and beliefs that can only be described as non-Americans. I have found one challenge after another, and I want to respond to those comments that suggest that if I don’t, I’m a coward. For transparency and a little fun, let’s do this.
Let me be absolutely clear here first, as I did in the first article:
RITTENHOUSE’s decision is correct and has nothing to do with race.
More than three-quarters of the comments refer to the evidence in the Rittenhouse case, and seem to be answering some of the so-called points not raised in my article that Rittenhouse is somehow guilty. Rittenhouse is innocent, makes sense, and shouldn’t be charged in the first place. In addition to this, it is said that I am a racial decoy and virtue signaler, and I am peddling “white guilt” and other cute terms that are more commonly used on the progressive left simply because I proposed something called “compassion.” “Although I am only a low-level writer at RedState, it is clear from the comments that if Christ walked on the earth today, many people would question his mission. I mean, where do you think you will find Christ? In the suburbs?
Why did I write it in the first place? Well, there are two reasons. First of all, as I said, I feel that although the “system” is correct for Rittenhouse, it often makes mistakes. When it makes mistakes, it mainly affects young, poor minority men. This does not mean that you, the particular reader who reads this article, is a racist, or that you have anything to do with building a system that perpetuates this injustice. My suggestion is that the justice example in the Rittenhouse case should inspire us to ensure that everyone has access to the same justice, everywhere, regardless of race or socioeconomic status.
Second, I see a lot of double standards in the comparison between Rittenhouse and Andrew Coffee. (I might discuss this topic in an article this week.)
Many people think that I am talking about race, but I am actually talking about compassion, and more specifically, compassion for people we may not fully understand. In the more than 1,500 words in that article, I never implied that conservatives were the cause of injustice, or in any way suggested that conservatives became racists because they did not understand this issue. This is the meaning of consciousness. It just says, “Uh, hey guys… Look here… There may be a problem.” It is a very narrow view to think that the systemic problems of the criminal justice system are not problems. It can only illustrate the criminal justice system. The problem is not the problem… For you.
This does not mean that you, the particular reader, or the conservatives as a whole are racist. It is the system. It’s a big government. It is a mandatory minimum and civil asset forfeiture and garbage public defender plan. It is our system, implemented by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (especially those two) in the past half century, and it is essentially the victims of ethnic minorities. The failure of minority communities is blamed on the government, which is mainly authorized by Democratic Party policy, in Democratic cities and Democratic states.The system is Absolutely Racists-this is not because of Republicans. Do you want to know the wonderful things? You can trust this without registering on the BLM mailing list or locking weapons with Al Sharpton.
In my article on Sunday morning, you read about some people falling down because of minor possession of drugs or who their ex-boyfriend is. Many of you think these crimes are worth the death penalty. If this is the basis for you to start, go ahead and click the X in the upper right corner. There is no reason to continue reading. You unilaterally decide that whatever the police say is their reason, and the punishment is death. The clichés of “It would be good if they cooperated” or “But they have a criminal record” are not a reason to kill them.
The killing ability of law enforcement agencies should only be used for one thing, one thing: to pose a direct and direct threat to the lives of officials/deputies or the public. I believe that any military officer or military officer should have the right to go beyond this, including “Well, he is not listening” or “Have you seen this person’s record?” This is completely non-American. This is a literal argument against due process. When a flagrant violation of the Constitution occurs and “our side” sits down and applauds, I refuse to sit back and watch.
I am not calling for racism. This is the worship of the dictator on the altar, depriving people of their rights, simply because they lack the means to protect themselves properly.
What also troubles me is the use of white injustice or black justice as a means of implying that injustice is not primarily directed at minorities. Just because the system is wrong in the case of AshliMore Just because it failed on OJ doesn’t mean it did it right on Casey Anthony. Acknowledging that there is a problem does not require you or any conservatives to accept the slightest accusation or racist label in the process. All it takes is to acknowledge it. Once we choose to admit that there is a problem, we can start looking for solutions that do not require the withdrawal of the police or the cancellation of bail or the mass release of prisoners. We are not on the left. We are not a group of absolutists. We love the protection guaranteed by this country and the constitution.
Compassion, understanding, patience, and a willingness to evaluate facts are what I ask for. Although I think these are characteristics of conservatives, especially Christians, many commentators consider these to be racist dog whistles. they are not. They are proud of who I know we can be.
If this requirement makes me a racist, or a bad writer, or any of the other 100 nicknames proposed to me today, so be it.
