review – No matter how many earbuds and headphones I buy or get for review, I’m always intrigued by new designs and the possibility of getting something that fits my needs better than I imagined. Every day when I walk a mile between the train station and work, I worry that the Apple Airpods I’m wearing will fall out of my ears and I’ll lose one or two. I’ve promised myself to buy the gadgets on sale to attach them to my ears, but I haven’t done so yet. So when I got a chance to check out these JLab Audio GO Air Sport earbuds, you can understand why I was intrigued.

Performance

Of course, the first thing I did was charge the earphones. I use one of my powerful power stations to do this.

Setting up Bluetooth is quick and easy, just like any other earbud. These earbuds fit my ears very comfortably and are very safe to wear while doing any activity.

Telephone: The calls on both sides were clear and I didn’t experience any disconnects.

music: These headphones are for convenience and not in the audiophile category. But once you’ve picked the right gel tips to fit your ears properly, they sound great and fit easily over your ears. I listened to some flamenco guitars, contemporary jazz, gospel and R&B, and they all sounded good enough for basic everyday listening. They work great when exercising, cycling or just relaxing.

Overall, based on the comfort of wearing them, good charge life, and overall good performance, I decided to take them to work with to have safe earbuds when going back and forth to the railroad. They can’t hear anything near my Apple Airpods, but they’re definitely good enough for any non-critical listening.

what do I like

final thoughts

The JLab Audio GO Air Sport earbuds fit very well and are very reliable. They don’t offer audiophile-grade sound quality, but I don’t think that’s the design intent. They sound great and have long battery life, making them a good choice. For the price, they are a good value/cost ratio.
