Review – I clean my ears with cotton swabs every day after the shower. It always slides quickly and enters the trash can. Have you ever wondered how many Q-tips are thrown into the trash every year? I didn’t either, until LastObject asked me if I would be interested in taking a look at their LastSwab. let’s see.
What is it?
LastSwab is an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable cotton swab AKA Q-tip.like Final organization I wrote last year that LastSwap from the Danish manufacturer LastObject is designed to be reusable.
What’s in the box?

Design and features

There are 3 versions of LastSwab. There are Basic, Baby and Beauty LastSwab.

Each reusable exchange comes with its own storage box, made of corn material or marine plastic. This box is easy to travel and can be stored in your bag or even in the medicine cabinet at home.
LastSwab-the basics

Each LastSwab has multiple colors to choose from, depending on the version. Basic LastSwab is available in 6 colors, including the red that was sent to me (it looks more like a dark pink to me).
Like other cotton swabs, LastSwab has two ends with a stick/stick in the middle. The LastSwab rod is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, so it will not break in half.
The cotton swab at the end is made of soft and elastic TPE rubber material. There are small bumps on the end of LastSwab Basic, which can suck up the sticky material. When you finish wiping, you can clean the end with ordinary soap and water, and then put it back in the box. Each swab can be used up to 1000 times. Therefore, for my daily wiping habit, a LastSwab can be used for nearly 3 years!
The only problem I found with this cotton swab was that it could not complete the task I needed to complete the cotton swab-dry my ears. That’s why I use cotton swabs to dry the water in my ears every morning after taking a shower. LastSwab can very well remove wax deposits that I may have but do not absorb water.
LastSwab-baby

The baby version of LastSwab looks similar to the regular version, but it has a more bulbous end to help prevent you from inserting the swap into the baby’s ear or nose too deep.
LastSwab beauty

Last but not least, LastSwab Beauty has two differently shaped ends. One end looks like a standard Q-Tip, just like LastSwab Basic minus the bumps. There is a smooth tip on the other end.

Final thoughts
I am a fan of LastObject products and still use their LastTissue. I like LastSwab and think it has many uses, and the fact that you can wash and reuse it up to 1000 times helps protect the planet and your wallet.
