Mike Rowe’s amazing response on whether he would urge Americans to get vaccinated – RedState

I always like to read what Mike Rowe said. Because it always has a lot of common sense, and he can often simplify complex problems.

Rowe was asked by a person named Steve Manchin whether he intends to use his platform to urge people to get vaccinated since “Delta is raging.”

Roche Answer on Facebook? Do not.

Luo said at first that he was vaccinated, but he did not intend to provide medical advice to others. Not only that, he also regretted the PSA that appeared earlier, when the lockdown was being pushed to prevent the hospital from overloading, and all we needed was “two weeks to flatten the curve.” He made one and he said that we were all in the same boat, but now he said he was completely wrong-although we were in the same storm, we were not all in the same boat. Some people prospered during this time, while others persisted in their precious lives. So he said that he doesn’t plan to promote anything now, only that any vaccination and non-vaccination are risky.

But that was when Rowe really walked into town, and all of us, as a country, were swayed by “experts” and politicians in this regard. It’s hard to find a better argument than this.

Obviously, I made the decision, but again, I am not a doctor. Therefore, I am unable to answer questions such as “But Mike, if the vaccine is so safe, why didn’t the FDA approve it? Or, “But Mike, if the vaccine is so effective, why does the government treat all of us now as if we were not vaccinated?” “

These are fair and reasonable questions, and I have no logical answer. In California, if you are inside, you must now wear a mask, regardless of whether you are vaccinated. What kind of message will this send? Yes, we have a new variant. As far as I know, it is highly contagious, but it is much less toxic-especially if you are vaccinated. According to the CDC, only 1 out of every 27,000 vaccinated people is infected with it. This means that if you are vaccinated, you are more likely to be struck by lightning than if you are infected with COVID. However, people are again calling for more lockdowns, more restrictions, and more compliance for those who have been vaccinated.

The fact is that millions of rational Americans have every right to be confused and doubtful. The people you mentioned, Steve-those who now tell us that we can “as long as everyone is vaccinated, we can return to normal”-that is, the people who say “two weeks to flatten the curve!” People tell us that masks are “useless” before they tell us that masks are “important.” It is these people who tell us that as long as the “most vulnerable” among us are vaccinated, they will return to normal. Then, just when “half of the population” was vaccinated. Then, just after we achieved “herd immunity”. Those who told us that they would not believe any vaccine developed by the previous government. Now these people are belittling the skeptics!

If it were a Peanuts comic, those people would be Lucy, pulling the football away at the last minute, and a country full of Charlie Brown pressed on their collective backs time and time again. The people you are referring to—elected officials, journalists, and, most disturbingly, more than a few medical experts—move goal posts time and time again, while ignoring the rules and restrictions they require all of us to abide by. They are always sure, they are usually wrong, they are not ashamed, and they are not humble at all. Is it no wonder that millions of people think they are not persuasive?

Luo concluded that every American who wants to be vaccinated has the opportunity to vaccinate, and they will not be persuaded by him. He said that if the government really wants to act wisely, they need to put aside politics and celebrities and only provide people with hard and transparent data.

“In other words, give us the facts, admit your mistakes, try to be humble, and don’t treat people who have not been vaccinated as enemies,” Luo finished.

Thank you, Mike Rowe, because this is how many people feel, and thank you for saying so well for all of us.
