It’s been a while since I shared my full morning and evening skincare routine, so I thought it would be a good time, especially since I really like the products I’m using right now. My skin has been happy lately, even with harsh winter temperatures and dry indoor heat. I thought it would also be helpful to be able to do the facial again. morning skincare routine
detergent: The Farmaesthetics Fine Herbal Cleanser One of my all-time favorite clean beauty products. Every time I try to replace it with a cleaner, I come right back. Getting that super clean feeling without taking your clothes off is unmatched. Smells incredible. It is really gentle and does a great job of removing makeup. I love getting up in the morning because it smells so refreshing.
toner: I have found This Facial Mist from Tower28 Beauty Last year, I liked it. It doesn’t really smell, but it’s super hydrating and does a great job of prepping the product for the skin. If you have very dry or sensitive skin, you can skip washing in the morning and use a reusable cotton pad.
Eye Cream: I want for a reason This eye cream in my Flair Skincare Set! It smoothes, removes puffiness, brightens the complexion and leaves skin feeling great. It has a light almost gel-like consistency and is great under makeup.
serum: I think this serum Has changed my skincare routine. It’s amazing on its own, but research shows that combining a vitamin C serum with a broad-spectrum sunscreen is more effective at neutralizing free radical damage from sun exposure than sunscreen alone. This formula comes from Follain The texture is lightweight, moisturizing, absorbs well and is not sticky.That’s why I included it in my skincare kit!
Moisture Cream: This Brightening Moisturizer from Tata Harper A splurge for me, but I absolutely love it. My beautician used it in the Tata Harper facial at the Woodstock Inn and my skin was so radiant afterwards that I couldn’t get over it.I love it as my morning skincare routine, but also if you’re looking for something a little cheaper Indie Lee’s Brightening Cream.
sunscreen: If I don’t want to get too much sun, I like Saie Sunvisor.If I’m going out in the sun, I use SuperGoop Mineral SheerScreen Then there’s Saie Sunvisor at the top.
nighttime skincare routine
cleanser: I usually double cleanse at night, especially if I have makeup on.I start with the Farmaesthetics Fine Herbal Cleanser and rinse with my Holy Grail Naturopathica Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm. It’s a more luxurious product, but 100% worth it to me. It has helped me with many skin problems ranging from breakouts to dryness to irritation.
toner: I have used Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner Over the years, it has not disappointed. Still love it and use it every day. It cleanses and conditions your skin without flaking or drying your skin.
serum: I have been using Herbivore Bakuchiol Serum for a long time, sadly it has been discontinued.I have one bottle left that I plan to use, and then I may stick with Follain Vitamin C Serum and substitute my healing serum, eg Farm Honeymoon Glow.
eye cream: I like night Biossance Seaweed Eye Cream Because it’s so smooth and moisturizing. A little goes a long way and this jar will last a long time.
Moisture Cream: I have actually been using an overnight mask instead of a nighttime moisturizer. Our house is so dry that my skin absorbs the product directly.Two of my favorites are Follain Hydrating Mask and Farmacy 10% Niacinamide Mask.
Oil: I only use oil at night, but I really like it Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. This definitely leaves my skin more hydrated and glowing when I wake up. I apply this right to a Follain or Farmacy mask.
