review – I enjoyed the Rift S VR device for a year or so, but when I moved, I had to give it back to its rightful owner. When I bought it myself, I decided to buy the Oculus Quest 2, which offers a completely wireless VR experience. This resulted in about 2.5 hours of battery life, which I had previously drained over the entire session. Comes with a NENOTOH mini power bank to add extra juice and extend play time between charges.

Design and Features
This is one of the easiest and most straightforward battery packs I’ve ever used. I took the NENOTOH mini power bank out of the box, checked the adapter, and plugged it in to charge using the included USB-C charging cable. While charging, an indicator light turns amber and blinks until complete.

After a while, the light turned solid amber, ready to go. I tried it with and without the adapter and decided to just use it without it. I have an Oculus Quest 2, so the adapter might work for other breeds. It plugs in easily and sits there with no problem. When charging the device, the light turns blue until the battery is almost depleted. The light then starts flashing blue to let you know it’s about to run out.
While I don’t play games that require me to do crazy acrobatics, playing Beat Saber and baseball, two of the most sports-focused games I own, works flawlessly. It didn’t fall out and was still firmly attached when I was done.
Typically, my Quest 2 VR headset will let me play games for about 2.5 hours before it needs to be charged. Using the NENOTOH mini power bank, I noticed it was about 1.5 hours longer. That’s pretty impressive as advertised, as I don’t think many battery packs can achieve the speeds they advertise.
In Kimchi, you can use the battery pack to charge USB-C devices. I use it with my Nintendo Switch because it uses USB-C and it does charge the Switch, draining it very quickly. It charges 12% in about 30 minutes and fully drains after charging the Switch 20%. While it’s advertised for Oculus, it appears to work with other USB-C devices as well.
what do I like
- Easy to insert and go.
- fast charging.
- Easily put in your wallet.
Areas for improvement
- Can’t really tell how much charge is left in the battery.
final thoughts
Overall, the NENOTOH Mini Power Bank is an affordable charger. It worked well on the Quest 2, charged quickly and provided an extra 1.5 hours of playtime. The only thing I would add is a little ability to see how much power is left. Other than that, I would recommend this product to improve your wireless VR experience.
