The Seattle Center Festival continues with the Pagdiriwang Filipino Festival, a two-day virtual show on June 4th from 1-4:30pm and June 5th from 1-3:30pm. facebook.com/Seattle Center and youtube.com/seattlecenter.
The annual Pagdiriwang Filipino Festival is an informative, educational, interactive and colourful event that highlights the commonalities of various ethnic groups through various art forms (performance, vision, photography, literature, music and cooking) while showcasing Activities specific to Filipino culture like the photo exhibition “Snapshot: Rural Life in the Philippines”, Filipino tribal dance and folklore.
Performances and displays include dances by the Washington State Philippine Performing Arts Troupe, artefact displays by John Paredes, photographs by Leia Maminta Smith, and more.
