Some say that the United States refuses to enter Kabul Airport – RedState

We are now facing an evacuation date, and there are still reports that Americans and Afghan allies cannot enter the airport.

This morning, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby could not tell how many Americans were left.

Although they claimed that 122,000 people had been evacuated, they could only say that 5,400 of them were American; they refused to disclose how many Afghans were SIV holders. So who did they take away and why? Did they just take the refugees onto the plane and make it look like it was sending people out? Because as the reporter pointed out, it seems that they did leave behind the people who should leave.

But there are still Americans eager to get out. Scottman, the retired green beret commander, talked about a bus with about 50 Americans, including many children. They are outside the airport, but cannot enter due to the influence of the Taliban.

That is this group:

There is also an American family in contact with Rep. Andy King (D-NJ). He said that they had tried to enter the airport many times but were unable to enter. King said he asked the State Department for their emergency phone number to help those trying to enter in this situation. They told him that there was no such figure.

After everything they said at this time, it was shocking. Although I think, given that it is the Biden team, no, this is not shocking. Jin did say that the State Department did get in touch with his family, but their identities are still unclear.

Chargé d’Affaires Ross Wilson denied that the State Department denied Americans access to the airport, but there were multiple reports that the State Department did not allow people to enter, including members of Congress who were in contact with them.

Brett Odom Tell fox Wilson’s statement is untrue.

“Well, as of today around 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time, this is absolutely wrong,” [….]

“I have a family of four outside the door. We are communicating frantically. Every channel we know, some people have access to Centcom and other business channels. These people are not allowed to enter the base. The base is closed. So some Americans are left behind.”

This is what Heather Nauert, a former spokesperson for the Trump State Department, told Wilson that what he said was completely untrue.

There are also American university students/alumni who were waiting on the bus to go to the airport yesterday when they were told that there were no more flights.

At this point, it’s a complete mess, but the report shows that at least hundreds of people have left.
