One of the strangest things in the past few weeks is Awareness of some news media They should actually be reporters. After bowing to the Biden administration for eight months, the chaos and death following the withdrawal of Afghan troops finally encouraged them to truly do their job. In all places, CNN has one of Clarissa Ward’s best live reporters to directly refute the false narrative of the White House.
But as I warned earlier this morningWith the withdrawal of the reporters who directly reported (Ward’s withdrawal over the weekend), the government has a new room for confusion, and media intervention is only a matter of time.
I regret to inform you that all the newly discovered news about Joe Biden in the mainstream media that we saw last week will not continue. Be prepared to be disappointed this week.

Well, I don’t have to wait too long. White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klein retweeted Joey Reid and Jennifer Rubin’s tweets last week, and he issued the latest talking points. Like clockwork, the usual suspects are repeating them.

Biden’s stenographer John Harwood repeated Klein’s bragging and completely avoided the fact that this disaster was preventable. You can’t set the house on fire, call the firefighters, and brag about their ability to put out the fire. Biden’s old age and incoherent decision-making have led to this situation, and it now requires thousands of trapped Americans who cannot even reach the airport to evacuate.
Also, note what was not in these two statements, and what Harwood inexcusably failed to point out in his debate-how many of these 37,000 are Americans?
Remember, at the beginning of the collapse, more than (perhaps more than) 10,000 Americans were trapped behind enemy lines, not only in Kabul, but throughout Afghanistan. How many people were rescued? Given that the corner building announced last Friday that 6,000 people would be airlifted one day, we can actually get a good idea. Of these 6,000 people, only “a few hundred” are Americans. Given these ratios, it is safe to say that thousands of Americans are still at risk.
Finally, let’s talk about how serious Harwood pointed out that there were no American casualties, and at the same time, we were too lazy to mention that dozens of people were still killed around the airport. In fact, thousands of American allies may have been killed, and the Taliban have made progress. We will not know for some time whether real American citizens have been killed. As far as current intelligence is concerned, there are too many blind spots on the ground. However, it is almost certain that we will soon face a hostage crisis.
The White House issued the talking points, as if everything is going well is obscene, but completely expected. The myth that Biden is a bastion of empathy has been completely exposed. He was a sick old man and didn’t care what happened. In fact, he and his government naively thought all this would pass. But I have bad news for them: people will never forget this.
