information – I may be the last person on earth without a dishwasher. One of the main reasons I don’t do this is size. The typical under-counter dishwasher takes up a lot of space that I don’t have. I have seen countertop models, but they usually require stylish water connections to work. Recently, I came across a countertop device from Heatworks, which claims to be the only free-standing dishwasher in the world.
Tetra Pak countertop dishwashers are completely self-contained, so there is no need for filling or drain hoses. Just lift the lid, pour three liters of water, load the device, choose a cleaning cycle, and open it. After the cleaning cycle is completed, take out the gray water tank and pour out the washing water. Tetra can clean up to 3 position settings, and has four cleaning settings: standard, eco-friendly, mild and plastic. There is even a FRUIT setting to clean agricultural products and other household items without detergent.
To ensure proper cleaning, Tetra uses the first customized dosing and multi-chemical cleaning cartridge system (think inkjet printers) to provide the optimal amount of prewash, enzymes and spot removal. Once your tableware is clean, Tetra will have a drying fan to dry your tableware. And because it only needs to be plugged into a power outlet to work, you can use it anywhere.
The Tetra countertop dishwasher is currently available for pre-order from Heatworks, with a special pre-sale price of US$399 (recommended retail price of US$499).However, the initial quantity will be limited, and the expected delivery date will arrive May 18, 2022. But if Tetra is all there is to it, then it may be worth the wait. To learn more about Tetra countertop dishwashers, please visit Heatworks website.
