The family of a missing teenager pleaded “we only hope you come back safely” because the police continue to appeal for his whereabouts.

At around 2 pm on July 1, 16-year-old Isaiah Aderiye disappeared in the New Cross area.

The police described the teenager as black, 6 feet tall and slim.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black sweatpants.

As we all know, Mr. Aderiye frequents the Lewisham, Deptford and New Cross areas.

Isaiah’s family said in a touching statement: “Isaiah, we miss and love you very much, and we only hope you will return home safely. No matter where you are, please know that you are deeply loved.

“No matter what you are going through, we will be here to listen and help. God bless you.”

The police said they had conducted several rounds of investigations, but despite “extensive efforts”, Isaiah was still missing.

Anyone who has seen Isaiah or knows his whereabouts is required to dial 101 to contact the police and quote the reference: 21MIS019360.
