At the end of September, the judge had deposed Spears’ father as the singer’s guardian and appointed a replacement. Jamie Spears, 69, has been his daughter’s guardian since 2008 after a mental breakdown due to personal and professional problems.
At court hearings in June and July, the singer violently attacked her father in an emotional speech and accused her family and caregivers of controlling her life and enriching herself with this.
