Perhaps the most tiring aspect of our current cultural moment is the constant search for racism to justify the minority view of the world. In the past few years, we have seen one prank after another, from Jussie Smollett To countless “Lasso” allegations (Including construction sites, as if ropes are often hung in these areas). This is not to say that racism does not exist (and to some extent it always exists), but when racist behavior must often be fabricated, as a country, we are clearly doing better than some people claim.
Well, there was another episode last night, where media figures rushed to Twitter to claim that a man yelled an n word on a broadcast in the Colorado Rockies.
When he was on the plate, some racists screamed the letter N at the top of Brinson’s lungs. It was very clear on TV. Terrible. Rockies needs to find this bastard and do bad things to him.

Nightengale continued to post that the man heard on TV yelling that he should be thrown into prison. Now, although I am against the use of racial nicknames, we will not imprison people for swearing in this country, or at least we have not done so. This is not Europe, hope it never will be. But the anti-liberalism of these people is obvious, and they never seem to understand the unintended consequences of what they are calling for.
In any case, this story went viral on the Internet. Many other “reporters” commented that this man was treated as a disgusting racist for most of the 12 hours and should be hunted down and punished. Because our society is so reactionary, no one seems to stop and ask: “Wait, did he really say it?”
The answer is no. He didn’t shout the n word on the baseball radio for the whole world (and the hundreds of people sitting around him) to hear it.
It sounds like the guy in Denver might have been yelling “Dingo” instead of what people heard at first, at least to many people who listened. Major League Baseball has been investigating it, but so far no one in the vicinity said they heard the racial nickname. So this may actually be good news. https://t.co/VQyQYp7hg3

This is just embarrassing. This man is calling Dingo, the mascot of the Rocky Mountains. This is why none of the people sitting next to him claimed to have heard him use the word n.
Although there is clear evidence that this is a fabricated scandal, if you read the response to the above tweet, most people still insist that this person is talking about n-word. Their “evidence” is what they heard in the video.
Let me explain. The mind has a way to hear what you tell it to hear. There are many puzzling things, and one of the audio is played and subtitled in a way that allows you to hear what it doesn’t actually say. This is the most popular technology in those “ghost hunting” shows, they will play some garbled, but will tell you what it is talking about. Sure enough, you will start to hear what they are saying.
In this case, many people are told that they will hear the word n every time they press play. Because of the similarity between the n word and the name Ding’er, it is easy for people to deceive themselves into hearing what they want to hear instead of what they are actually saying. This is why people in the crowd did not hear the n word. They were not inclined to hear it, so they heard the actual word, in this case, Dingle.
But awakeningism is a disease, which means they will never admit that this is yet another fabricated ethnic incident. On the contrary, they will continue to redouble their efforts, because in their view, racism is everywhere and part of everything. Think of it as a sad existence.
