The Woodward Briefcase demonstrates what we love about WP standard design. The aesthetics are simple and very functional. You get a padded laptop sleeve and a zippered pocket in the main compartment, and the bag has open front and back pockets for quick grabs. There are two carrying options between a long handle and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap, with its own shoulder pads. Overall dimensions of 16.5″W x 12.5″H x 4.5″D provide plenty of room for your work gear, and the entire package weighs 3.2lbs for shoulder use.
We’ve reviewed WP Standard products before, such as WP Standard Wine Tote, and the build quality is consistently excellent. Solid brass hardware throughout for lasting toughness. 100% full grain leather available in three finishes: tan, brown and black. WP Standard lets *a little* a little sturdiness in finishing I love. It presents as a bag that you can wear with a suit or with jeans, but in either case it won’t look out of place.
I’m also a fan of their pricing. The WP Standard Woodward Briefcase retails for $348…a relative value compared to other manufacturers who use full grain leather in their bags.
