In the past two weeks, the Steele file, which has been considered a reliable source of Donald Trump’s taint for many years, has been completely discredited. Although it has been obvious for a long time that the archives are unproven and full of false conspiracy theories, John Durham’s prosecution allowed us to see how the sausage was made and nailed the last nail to the coffin.
Igor Danchenko, now Repeatedly prosecuted for lying The FBI is Christopher Steele’s main source of information, but this is a Agent Hillary Clinton Who actually gave Danchenko a lot of obscene claims.
Along with these revelations comes the ritual rewriting of history. The Washington Post has begun to delete some articles discussing Steele’s files in the past.

The Washington Post took unusual steps on Friday, correcting and deleting most of the contents of the two articles, published in March 2017 with February 2019, The document has identified a Belarusian-American businessman as the main source of the “Steel File”, which collected a large number of unconfirmed reports claiming that the Russian government had leaked information about the then-candidate Donald Trump .
The newspaper’s executive editor, Sally Buzbee, stated that the Washington Post could no longer insist on the accuracy of these elements in the report. It has identified the businessman Sergey Millian as “Source D”. The unnamed figure passed the most obscene allegations in the file to its lead author and former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.
Of course, what the Post did not do was reveal from their original report who their fake news source was. You would think that when a source lied to you, it would be a reason to expose them to prevent it from happening again. But doing so was too much to admit failure to the Post, and it was very public.
Instead, we are doing relatively quiet editing of articles over many years to make it look as if the second largest newspaper in the United States has not completely destroyed the story. In that case, a few years from now, for those who are not well informed, there is no real record of failure. Some things are really sketchy, especially because the Post reporters really won the Pulitzer Prize for their rubbish coverage of Trump and Russia.

Will anyone in the media pay the price? The answer is obviously no. For most of Trump’s presidency, the Trump-Russia scam dominated the news. The reporters claimed blockbuster one by one, but failed their stories and the sources of lies again and again. But their mission has been accomplished. Trump is no longer president, and his tenure has been severely affected by a special adviser to witch hunts. That is always the goal, not an accurate report.
In the end, nothing has changed except for a few articles long after the damage has been done.
