Review – I am not a handbag person, but I am a change person. Meet Waterfield Designs Packable Tote Bag, my best new friend and travel buddy. It’s so useful to review!

Design and features
Why am I so hyped about handbags? First of all, it is a paddy field. This means that even the packageable version is built for durability, beauty, and outstanding functionality. This is a daily bag that can be packed.
Let’s start from the outside, it is made of custom-made materials that are wrinkle-resistant, waterproof, and have a substantial structure. It looks good enough to take to the office, but it will be hit during travel and beach trips. I know this because I have done both.
The interior is lined with a tough diamond tear-resistant fabric, which also allows you to easily find your items. Like all Waterfield products, it is elegant inside and out.

Both pockets are secured with splash-proof sealing strips and waterproof zippers, using Waterfield metal hardware. The outer pocket is 8 inches x 8 inches (extending to the top of the bag) and is equipped with a metal key chain.
The internal pocket is 8 inches x 9 inches and has a waterproof zipper. There is enough space for all small things.
You will find a 4.5 inch x 7 inch bottle bag on each side. I find that taller and narrower hydration bottles work best here, but you can easily put an umbrella or a sunglasses case in either.
The internal space is as high as 14.5 inches x 14.5 inches x 5 inches, and the extra structure facilitates packaging. It also has a reinforced rim to help the structure. As a size reference, I have a 1.75 liter bottle of rum in the main compartment. As you will see below, it has free space.
The handle is simple nylon, folded and sewn on the handle. They are basic, just like my expectations of packable bags, but they are perfect for work. The 13-inch handle drop allows side or shoulder carrying.
This bag exudes quality in every corner. For a 12-ounce bag, the double-layer construction feels very sturdy. Every stitch is perfect and strengthened in all the right places. No matter where you go, you can kick this bag happily, it will only laugh at you.
Packageable function
Packing luggage for the trip is easy. You will first turn out that inner pocket and turn it over.
Next, you fold the sides to roughly the same width as the pocket.
Now fold that mass into your pocket, like this…
Then the tucked structure is large enough that you don’t need to mash the material into the pocket accurately.
The zipper is also reversible, so the final product is well sealed and tightly sealed in a 9.5 inch x 8.5 inch package. Put it in your backpack or carry it with you, and when you reach your destination, it will be ready to leave wrinkles.
Performance
I said before: I am not a handbag person. Now I find myself carrying this thing everywhere. Here, I filled it with produce from my garden to share in the office.

We just returned from a trip to the Bund in North Carolina, where the handbag was the bread transport unit I drove over from Philadelphia. There are 5 dozens of various types of rolls in my bag, plus two sets of bagels.
When we got there, handbags became beach bags and shopping bags for short trips.
