Starting this week, anyone in the U.S. can buy the Car Thing. Car Thing features touchscreen controls, voice controls, and a large dial and physical buttons to control your Spotify account.
Car Thing is essentially your phone’s second screen dedicated to showing you the Spotify interface. It connects to your phone for data, and your phone connects to your car stereo via bluetooth or an auxiliary cable.
The package includes a 12V power adapter, USB power cable, and three different magnetic mounts, so you can safely mount it and take it with you.
Starting this week, anyone with a Spotify Premium account can buy Car Thing for $90 carthing.spotify.com. Car Thing is not available for Spotify free account tier users.
