Design and features
ClipGlow Night Light has a silicone rubber cover on the plastic module containing the battery and LED. The magnet clip is strong enough to fix the light on the thin fabric. I tried ClipGlow in the T-shirt collar and shirt pocket. Throughout the activity I performed, the magnet was strong enough to keep the light where I placed it. For example, if the light is clipped “upside down” to the end of the T-shirt, I don’t believe it will stay safe. It appears to be designed to be clipped in the collar, pocket, and belt of pants.

The ClipGlow magnet clip can be well fixed in the waistband of lightweight running and fitness shorts, and the device may be fixed in the waistband of jeans, sports pants, casual pants, etc. under gravity and pressure.
I clipped the lamp to the neckline of a sweater, but the magnet did not hold the lamp. When walking the dog at night, gravity fixed it in place, but due to the thickness of the fabric, the magnet did not attract, so it moved a little.
I clip the lamp high up to my collar, or even clip it on a lanyard and hang it on the middle of my chest. When I walk, the light distracts my view of the street. The lower I can clip the light, for example in a belt or jeans pocket, the less interference it will have on my vision in front of me. Some people may think that ClipGlow is best for temporary use, such as in vehicles, utility rooms, studios, etc., rather than running or walking. The light will be an excellent “tail light” for running and walking, and you can use a light flashlight to look ahead.

My mother-in-law is a hospital nurse and uses Maglight (two AA sizes) multiple times during the night shift every night. She wrapped the end with a bandage and bit the lamp with her teeth. She will love ClipGlow night light, and her dentist will love it too!
If it is held in a uniform pocket, I can see that EMS personnel find ClipGlow very convenient. The police may not like white silicone, so maybe the company should consider the black version? White just doesn’t have that “tactical” appearance, and may conflict with dark uniforms.

Installation and setup
I used the Micro-USB cable to charge the ClipGlow light. The white LED flashes during charging. When the lamp is fully charged, the LED stops blinking.

I made a little modification to ClipGlow by connecting ClipGlow to my key set by connecting the light to the key ring. There are two holes in the strap between the lamp module and the magnet. I found that it is a bit big on my key set, and the light is not really designed to be used to locate the keyhole when connected to the key. If you need to find a keyhole, or find a key in the dark, or walk to a shed in the yard in the dark, it will be perfect to clip in your shirt or pocket.

what do I like
- Bright, broad light “throws”
- Unique blinking LED
- Lightweight device
- Charging capacity

What will i change
- Tactical black would be a good choice.

This is the first button to produce bright white light.

The second button is a medium-bright white light.

Pressing the button a third time will display a blue LED, or red, pink or green, depending on your model. Pressing the button for the fourth time will produce a flashing colored LED.
Final thoughts
If you can use a clip-on lamp to write reports in the dark, or use hands-free lighting in the workplace or at home, the rechargeable ClipGlow lamp is a unique and inexpensive solution. Watch the LightsFlo website to learn about the availability of rechargeable devices.
