Review – If you use the iPad Pro as an additional monitor for a laptop or desktop computer, or if you use the iPad Pro as the only computer, then you definitely need a stand to make the experience more like a computer. Today I want to show you the Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro Stand. let’s see.
What is it?
The Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro Stand is an updated version of Dave’s Lululook Magnetic iPad Pro Stand Review Earlier this year.
What’s in the box?
- Lululook Magnetic iPad Pro Stand
This magnetic tablet stand is only compatible with iPad Pro 11″ 1st Gen, iPad Pro 11″ 2nd Gen, iPad Pro 11″ (third generation) and iPad Air 4th Gen.
Design and features
The Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro stand is available for 11-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. I received an 11-inch iPad Pro. I have the third generation iPad Pro.
The bracket is made of heavy aluminum with a space gray finish. The stand has a wide base with a non-slip pad underneath.
The mount for the iPad Pro is a large rectangular magnetic pad. It has a soft rear that feels like silicone or rubber to prevent it from scratching the back of the iPad.
The angle of the magnetic bracket can be adjusted to almost 360°. In the image above, you can see its angle on that axis as far as possible.
Then it can also be rotated upwards and over the back of the stand. I don’t know why you want to turn it back like that, but if you want, you can.
The magnetic stand can also be rotated 360°, so the orientation of the iPad Pro can be easily switched from landscape to portrait by quickly turning it.
This is my 11-inch iPad Pro connected to the Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro holder. The magnet in the bracket is strong enough to hold the iPad firmly.
I even have a skin on the back of the iPad Pro and did not notice any problems with the magnetic fixation.
I like that you can easily change the direction. Please note that you really need to hold the base when turning the screen. Although the Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro stand has a certain weight, it is not heavy enough to manipulate the viewing angle without holding the stand base.
I do hope that the stand also provides a wall shelf so that it can also be used with other tablets.
what do I like
- Powerful magnets firmly fix iPad Pro on the bracket
- Customizable viewing angle and direction
What will i change
- Lower the price
- Add a ledge/foot so that the stand can be used with other tablets
My only problem with the Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro Stand is the price. It’s more than $30 more than our first version of the bracket Review Earlier this year. US$90 is not a small expense for an already expensive tablet. If you can exceed the price, Lululook Urban Magnetic iPad Pro Stand is a good stand for iPad Pro. It raises the tablet above the work surface so that you can use it with a keyboard and mouse or as a second monitor.
