So will the popularity and big platform bring him into the governor’s mansion?
Elder is very at ease during the Freedom Festival, because he is a group of like-minded people, but also a group of friendly people. His speech time is also limited to 25 minutes. Elder didn’t talk too much about why he chose to run for governor of California, or what he would do as a governing platform if he wins. He did what Elder did: present readings and statistics to prove his argument. Elder is the strongest when it comes to his background. When he talks about his father’s relationship with them, or his own growth experience will strengthen his governing policies, it is time for him to show credibility, personability and down-to-earth. Everything else is what you can hear when listening to his radio program.
What makes Elder uncomfortable is the one-hour sit-in interview with the opinion editors of the McClatchy Group, and they published Bee The state’s papers (Sacramento, Fresno, Modesto), Mercedes Sun Star,as well as forum.

“I’m not comparing myself to Ronald Reagan. What I want to say is that if you don’t have common sense and good judgment, sometimes political experience won’t tell you anything.”
Although Elder shared that his father’s path from poverty to middle class cannot happen in today’s California, he is concerned about the state’s high cost of living, how it drives people out of the state, and the governor’s policies. How to alleviate this to no avail.
Therefore, Elder’s answer is a bit non-answer:
“I think it’s about common sense and good judgment. I think I understand it.”
Weber’s second question Fresno Bee The next step is logical: if he wins the game to replace Newsom, what will he do on the first day?
“One thing I want to do is to declare a state of emergency for homelessness across the state.”
This is also the plan of businessman John Cox. You can almost feel the side eye from the public opinion reporter group, just like the side eye you feel when Cox says almost exactly the same thing in a debate.
Elder said he would “do something” with CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) In order to build low-income housing for the homeless and low-income people more quickly. Elder also stated that he would “do something for education and crime” by urging the recall of bad DAs such as George Gascon in Los Angeles County and Chesa Pudding in San Francisco County. Elder also said that he will ease the remarks about the “capitalization police” and stop releasing violent criminals.
What is disturbing is the language of “doing something”, especially for people with more than 23 years of professional writing experience. Does he have no policy measures? A plan to formulate his policy? Elder frankly referred to all the “experts” who advised his campaign. Didn’t these experts come up with practical plans that he could talk about?
If this is a typical election cycle, these things will happen at the right time. However, there are still 34 days before the special recall election, and the ballot papers have been posted. Therefore, you would think that Elder will have a more specific policy structure, which he can express more clearly.

Whatever your opinion on this issue, I can assure you: Elder did not help himself with the black voters in California and made recommendations to comply with. It’s one thing to use it as a broadcast discussion starter. Using it as the focus of governance is another matter.
Then Brittany fell into the weed of election integrity, whether it was Joe Biden with dementia who won the election, “fairness”, big lies, and of course the chaos of January 6.
This more reflects the gradual tendency of this group of people who were even asked about this question. Elder didn’t seem to see Brittany just trying to push Newsom’s narrative about radical Republicans, Trump supporters, and Q-Anon members, because he just fell into it.

Catturd is not wrong, it emphasizes what I said from the beginning. Elder lacked understanding of the recall. He was riding on the sporty tail wing, but at the same time he didn’t want to participate in it.
Larry Elder said that Biden won a fair and just election. Either he was afraid to tell the truth about what happened, or he knew nothing, either way was a bad thing. This is why Kevin Kiley has been my horse from day one. He is legal to do his homework on Kiley.

Elder used statistics and talking points from other consultants and sources to discuss water and electricity issues in California. But, once again, he only outlined the problems and the measures Newsom did not take in response to these problems, without explaining how he would solve them.
Where Elder regained his footing is the conversation about school choices. Just like when he was speaking on FreedomFest, he was personable, knowledgeable and responsible for practical solutions instead of chattering about theoretical points.
If Elder is elected as the next governor of California, he seems to have a certain degree of certainty and action on specific issues in our state.
The jury still did not solve all the problems.
